Decorative Dome Clear Dome
Doming is a process we use to create appealing labels that are eye-catching and stand out. The process creates Dome labels, which heighten the sense of quality associated with the product to which they are attached. We start the process by covering your label with a liquid polyurethane resin. Our standard product is an outdoor grade resin, and guaranteed for five years of exterior use without changing appearance. A precise needle injects the resin onto your label, where it spreads out to meet the edges of and conforms to the label shape. In the final stages, a catalytic reaction kicks in and the resin starts to gel. Within a few minutes the labels harden where they are stacked to cure overnight and are ready to ship the next day.
As few as 100 labels can be produces using this method, on a 1" x 1" computer label. No printing plates or cutting dies are necessary.
Brand names and trademarks take on a powerful visual impact when the clarity and three dimensional (3D) effect of a High Appearance Dome Label is attached to it.
Decorative - Embossed
Embossing results in a dramatic raised effect and is perfect for intricate designs when coupled with foil stamping and detailed dies. Created by pressing the desired image into the stock, between heated die and counter die, the result is highly detailed and striking.
Decorative Hot-Stamp Labels
The appearance and brilliance of foil stamping can enhance the look of any label. Foil stamping (also known as flat stamping, hot stamping, gold stamping, blocking and leafing) applies a flat, non-tarnishable metallic effect to paper and plastics. Available in an assortment of effects, such as metallic finishes; wood grain, geometric patterns, and holograms. |
